چکیده

Abstract. A two-stage fuzzy inference system (FIS) is applied to prospectivity modelling and exploration-target delineation for rare earth element (REE) deposits associated with carbonatite–alkaline complexes in the western part of state Rajasthan India. The design FIS selection input predictor map are guided by a generalised conceptual model carbonatite–alkaline-complex-related REE mineral systems. In first stage, three FISs constructed fertility favourable geodynamic settings, lithospheric architecture fluid transportation shallow crustal (near-surface) emplacement architecture, respectively, study area. second outputs above integrated Stochastic systemic uncertainties output maps estimated facilitate decision-making regarding exploration targets. led identification prospective targets Kamthai–Sarnu-Dandeli Mundwara regions, where detailed project-scale ground recommended. Low-confidence were identified Siwana ring complex region, north northeast Sarnu-Dandeli, south Barmer, Mundwara. Detailed geological mapping geochemical sampling together high-resolution magnetic radiometric surveys recommended these areas increase level confidence before undertaking exploration. prospectivity-analysis workflow presented this paper can be geodynamically similar regions globally, such as Afar province (East Africa), Paraná–Etendeka (South America Siberia (Russia), East European Craton–Kola (eastern Europe), Central Iapetus (North America, Greenland Baltic region) pan-superior America).

Geochemistry of Rare Earth Element in garnet group minerals in some regional metamorphic complexes - Central Iran Micro-Continent (CIMC)

This study focuses on the amount and concentration of trace elements and REEs pattern in garnet crystals which experienced regional metamorphism in the central Iran micro-continent, including the areas of Deh-Salm, Zaman Abad, Mishdowan, and Tanbour. Generally, garnet crystals are isolated from mica schists of greenschist to amphibolite facies. Mineralogical composition of garnets shows almandi...

Rare Earth Elements Profile

Definitions and characteristics The rare earth elements (REE) (sometimes referred to as the rare earth metals) are a group of 17 chemically similar metallic elements, including the 15 lanthanides, scandium and yttrium. The lanthanides are elements spanning atomic numbers 57 (lanthanum, La) to 71 (lutetium, Lu) (Table 1). The lanthanides all occur in nature, although promethium, the rarest, only...

Coordination of rare-earth elements in complexes with monovacant Wells-Dawson polyoxoanions.

The alpha-1 and alpha-2 isomers of the monovacant Wells-Dawson heteropolyoxoanion [P(2)W(17)O(61)](10-) are complexants of trivalent rare-earth (RE) ions and serve to stabilize otherwise reactive tetravalent lanthanide (Ln) and actinide (An) ions in aqueous solution. Aspects of the bonding of Ln ions with alpha-1-[P(2)W(17)O(61)](10-) and alpha-2-[P(2)W(17)O(61)](10-) were investigated to addre...
